- If in infested area, check for deer ticks which
can transmit Ehrlichia, a serious pathogen that causes HGE (human granulocytic
ehrlichiosis) which can be fatal. As a precautionary measure, drink 5-10 drops
mixed in 8 oz water 3 times daily for 1-2 weeks.
Put GSE directly onto the tick or the leech, then remove and put another drop
on the bite to disinfect.
