Chlorine dioxide therapy (CDT)
Chlorine Dioxide Therapy for topical use - How to prepare solution from MMS to slowly release chlorine dioxide over time

MMS preparation choices for topical use

(1) How to make CDS from MMS to release chlorine dioxide slowly over time

CDS = chlorine dioxide solution;  MMS = Master Mineral Solution, 22.4% sodium chlorite solution)

Produces a 2 - 3 pH, which may irritate sensitive skin

WHEN ACTIVATING MMS, DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES

About this preparation method

Immediately releases a small amount of the available chlorine dioxide, then releases the rest over time using a weak acid activator

This method forms chlorous acid that breaksdown to slow release chlorine dioxide.   Incidentally, this type of solution (without DMSO) is used to prevent microbial spoilage of meat carcuses between slaughter and consumption, and to keep fruits and vegetables from spoiling between harvest.

Instructions to produce a chlorine dioxide solution (CDS) that slowly releases chlorine dioxide over time

▲  Activate Master Mineral Solution (MMS)

Add - 1 TEAspoon (~80 drops) of 10% citric acid, fresh lemon juice or vinegar to 12 drops of stanfard MMS (22.4% sodium chlorite solution) in an empty 2 oz. spray bottle or small bowl or glass container.

Or

Add -  ¼ TEAspoon (20 drops) of 50% citric acid solution to ¼ TEAspoon (20 drops) of standard MMS in an empty 2 oz. spray bottle or small bowl or glass container

This will stay activated for about 3 days.

▲  Wait 3 minutes for activation;

▲  Add Water.   Fill the 2 oz. bottle with sterile (distilled or cooled/boiled) water or add 2oz water to container used.

▲  Optionally add 1 ¼ TEASPOONS  of DMSO to aid penetration.  Stir until thoroughly combined. This step is optional but does help solution to better penetrate tissues. Adding DMSO reduces shelf life. DMSO must be handled properly, please see details at:
