CDS = chlorine dioxide solution; MMS = Master Mineral Solution, 22.4% sodium chlorite solution)
WHEN ACTIVATING MMS, DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES
Uses hydrochloric acid (HCl) to activate sodium chloride.
Produces a solution that kills off acne-causing bacteria without damaging the skin. This type of solution is used for water purification and the disinfection of surfaces.
According to Tom on Curezone, who has done a lot of testing using different strengths and methods using MMS, topical solutions in the 100 - 150 PPM chlorine dioxide range do a good job of disinfection, but don't seem to damage the skin when applied to the skin for just a few minutes at a time before it dries. The following solution yields a concentration of about 120 PPM ClO2:
(produces a neutral PH, preferred for sensitive skin)
ml = cc . A metric teaspoon contains 5 ml. Small syringes are graduated in cc increments, and make excellent measuring device.
▲ In a 250mL pyrex measuring jug:
Add 1 ml (scant ¼ TEAspoon) of 5% sodium chlorite
To 1 ml (scant ¼ TEAspoon) of 6% HCl (dilute the normal ~32% hydrochloric acid you get in the store down to a 6% concentration)
How to Make 5% Sodium chlorite solution from standard MMS (22.4% sodium chlorite) solution
How to Make 6% HCl from 32% HCl
▲ Wait 3 minutes for sodium chlorite to be activated and chlorine dioxide to be released into solution
Don't breathe fumes!
If you try mixing HCl and MMS
with higher concentrations, you can end up with high concentration chemicals splattering
all over the place, which is unsafe
▲ Add 1/8 TEAspoon baking soda
▲ Add an amount of water depending on required application
▪ FOR ACNE: Add enough water to make a total solution of 250 ml.
▪ FOR STRONGER APPLICATIONS ( E.g. skin cancer, fungal infections, eruptions, wounds) - Add enough water to make a total solution of 125 - 150 ml adjusting if necessary after testing reaction on skin)
If you keep prepared (diluted, activated sodium chlorite) solution out of light, it should last for a couple of weeks
▲ Optionally add 1¼ TEASPOONS of DMSO to aid penetration - stir until thoroughly combined. This step is optional but does help solution to better penetrate tissues, but also reduces shelf life to about 6 hours. DMSO must be handled properly, please see details at:
